Holiday Punch For The Whole Family

Dec 23

This Holiday Punch for the whole family will be a beautiful and vibrant centrepiece for the festive table. It serves all of your family members, young and old! Made with sparkling juices and lots of fresh fruit, this holiday drink is too good to pass on!

Holiday Punch For The Whole Family

This sparkling and festive punch recipe can be enjoyed by the whole family. It is fun to make, it tastes great and the kids will love having a holiday cocktail like the big people. You may keep a bottle of Prosecco or Rum on the side so adults who would like to add alcohol to their punch can serve themselves. It’s so easy and flexible to make!

This Holiday Punch for the whole family is the very best punch recipe because it’s so adaptable. It takes less than 10 minutes to make and would be lovely at any holiday table centrepiece.

HOW TO MAKE HOLIDAY PUNCH FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The recipe is super simple. In fact it isn’t a recipe really, more like an idea to bring your regular fruit punch to the next level this holiday season. In this festive punch there is sparkling juice and fruit. Beyond that, it’s a flexible and forgiving family drink that you can really play around with! In that spirit, think of this holiday punch recipe as a formula that you can easily adjust to suit your own tastes. You make this punch simply by combining:

  • Fruit juice. I love how festive and beautiful it looks with cranberry juice or cranberry-pomegranate juice blend.
  • Fruit. Citrus fruits, particularly oranges and limes are ideal. I also recommend, pomegranate arils and cranberries for this holiday punch, as they would look fabulous in a big, generous pitcher or punchbowl at the centre of your table.
  • Fresh herbs. An addition of fresh rosemary and mint would be so refreshing and totally makes it look even more festive.
  • Sparkling juice. Sparkling apple cider or sparkling blood orange juice are both great. You’ll love the added ginger ale as well. Add sparkling juices right before serving, so the punch stays bubbly.
  • Lots of ice. Keep all the ingredients chilled before making the punch. Frozen cranberries instead of fresh ones are great here as they keep the drink nice and chilled acting like little ice cubes.

Holiday Punch For The Whole Family

Holiday punch is best served as soon as it has been mixed as the sparkling drinks will start to go flat. Combine regular juices with fruit and fresh herbs, then add the sparkling juices right before serving.

I hope you’ll make your family this delicious drink, sit back, put on some festive music, enjoy the lights from the Christmas tree and relax. I feel like unwinding at the end of a very long and stressful year with a little bubbly is a wonderful treat, and this Holiday Punch for the whole family certainly fits the bill.

Lovely festive drink. We first had it over Christmas last year, but made it for friends and family gatherings over the last couple of months too. Delicious any time of the year!
