Pomegranate Ombre Sparkler

Dec 30

Welcome to the last post of 2017!!! Cheers to a Happy New Year with this Pomegranate Ombre Sparkler!

Pomegranate Ombre Sparkler

I’ll keep this short and sweet since many of us are still busy with friends and family in the midst of the holidays, but I just wanted to wish you a wonderful New Year full of warmth, love and prosperity in 2018! May all your wishes come true!

It’s so hard to believe that the whole year has flown by and today I’m sharing my final recipe of 2017. This year was good, full of precious memories and family time. The blog stayed quite for the majority of the year as I directed most of my attention to our precious baby boy. He turned one back in October and we had the cutest Little Blue Truck party for him. He is definitely a highlight of our everyday life and we can’t wait to share more treasured memories with him in years to come.

Pomegranate Ombre Sparkler

I think this Pomegranate Ombre Sparkler might just be my favorite cocktail of the entire season. Ok, maybe this Citrus Moscow Mule is one of my favorites too:) But this sparkler is so simple, serves a crowd, and it’s delicious! It’s a simple mix of sweet pomegranate juice and sparkling wine. Yup, just two simple ingredients, but trust me, it is so good. I wanted to share an easy cocktail recipe like this today because, let’s just be real, as much as I love mixing up individual cocktails, New Year’s party is hectic and no one wants to be stuck mixing drinks all night.

I paired my cocktail with some festive ice cubes filled with pomegranate arils and a sprig of rosemary to make things a little fancy…ish. Perfect quick, easy, and delicious holiday cocktail. And how cool is that ombre effect!?!

Hope you guys are ringing in the New Year with family friends and good cocktails…meaning these Pomegranate Ombre Sparklers! 🙂

What a beautiful (and fantastic) cocktail! My mom’s birthday is coming up, and I think this MAY be our cocktail of choice as it’s not too sweet! Love the sprigs of rosemary – you’re right… makes it look so fancy!
